Solar Pumps
This scheme encourages farmers to install solar pumps, which use solar energy for water irrigation.
Grid-Connected Pumps
The venture encourages solarisation of existing grid-connected agricultural pumps, allowing farmers to reduce their electricity bills.
solar power plants
This venture encourages farmers to set up solar power plants on vacant or uncultivated land. The electricity generated from these plants can be used by farmers for their own consumption or sold to the grid.
Financial Aid
Under the Kusum Solar Scheme, financial assistance is provided to farmers for installation of solar pumps and solar plants.
